Aaron Tawes, M.D.
Dr. Tawes is a board-certified family medicine physician who came to UF Health St. Johnsafter serving as an attending physician at Baptist Primary Care and completing his residency in Family Medicine at Navicent Health. He received his medical degree from Ross University, his pre-med degree from Florida State and his undergraduate degree from Michigan State. Dr. Tawes’ clinical interests include outpatient family medicine and urgent care.
Monica Tran, M.D.
Dr. Tran is a board certified family medicine physician who joined the UF Health St. Johnsteam after spending the past five years practicing family medicine in Jacksonville. Prior to that Dr. Tran helped provide medical care to the Navajo Indian population in Chinle, AZ. She completed her residency at University of Chicago Family Medicine Residency, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Tran received her medical degree from the American University of The Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten, after doing post-bachelor studies at the University of New Orleans and earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University of New Orleans.
